For mountain lovers , the location of Camping ai Colli Fioriti is strategic . The verdant valley is a starting point for reaching spectacular places, from which to enjoy unique landscape spectacles.

Here we suggest some of the most beautiful excursions , which can be followed starting from the campsite. Some are simple , pleasant and relaxing walks between Lake Como and Lake Lugano. Others require more preparation to reach the peaks of the beautiful surrounding mountains .

Excursions to the west of the Val d’Intelvi

  • Monte Generoso (1701 m)
  • Monte Sighignola (1302 m) with a famous viewpoint called ” Balcony of Italy ” from which you can enjoy a spectacular view of Lake Lugano
  • Pizzo delle Croce (1491 m)
  • Sasso Gordona (1410 m)
  • Monte di Lenno (1589 m) with instead several suggestive views of Lake Como

In the winter season , Camping ai Colli Fioriti attracts many skiers ready to have fun descending the slopes of Sighignola. On Monte Crocetta you can practice ski mountaineering, while in Lanzo there is a small ring for cross-country skiers , all just a few kilometers from the hotel.

 

For bicycle enthusiasts there is the possibility to choose among the many mountain bike routes in the woods and possibly even register for the periodic amateur race which takes place in early August. With the racing bike you can travel the splendid panoramic roads that are located between the lake of Lugano and that of Como. For the more trained you can go from the famous Argegno – San Fedele climb , often traveled by professionals in the Giro di Lombardia , or simply turn between one village and another and admire the landscape.
